Cacao ceremony
Cacao, the sacred drink of the gods, is an incredibly powerful medicine that was celebrated thousands of years ago in ceremonies of the Maya and many other indigenous cultures of Central and South America on most important occasions. It is a great gift that we can experience the power of the cocoa goddess in our culture today, because the loving spirit of raw cocoa envelops us gently and motherly, while our heart begins to open and our deeply locked emotions slowly begin to flow.
Ceremonially prepared cacao is a magical drink and supports us in gaining a higher awareness of ourselves and our life issues. It brings us to our inner center, harmonizes our energy field and grounds us at the same time.
The cocoa goddess gives us the presence of the here and now, in which we can fully perceive and feel ourselves. She provides us with the nourishing, maternal abundance that our heart and body need at this moment and gently carries us so that we can let go and surrender.
“Mama Cacao”, as the plant deva is affectionately called, is also a valuable supporter in energetic and emotional healing processes. It gives us insights into our inner life, strengthens access to our intuition, inspiration and creativity and is incredibly nourishing and tasty.
Workshops
In workshops I like to pass on knowledge that supports you in working spiritually and shamanically with yourself and others. Everything that I have learned and experienced myself and find valuable, I like to convey to you in a loving way.
Be it an initiation to become a fire woman, in which you learn the energetic cleansing with the incense chalice, the atlantean connection to crystals and crystal skulls and how to work and communicate with them or consciousness work to connect with your soul and body as well as how to let healing energy flow through your hands and your field are some of the techniques and tools that I am very happy to pass on in workshops and retreats.
Sweat lodge
The sweat lodge, or the womb of Mother Earth, is a place where healing, cleansing and transformation happens. A timeless space where everything has its place and is honoured. A space in which we become aware, possibly receive visions, transform old things into fire, purify ourselves and ask for blessings for ourselves, our fellow human beings and Mother Earth. Guided by songs, stories and prayers, we connect in this sacred space with all that is, was and will be.
Our ancestors in particular – represented by the glowing stones that are carried from the fire (male) into the hut (female) and provide the heat – are invited into this ceremony and asked for support for our transformation and healing. The connection of the masculine and feminine energies within ourselves, represented by the fire and the lodge, are also an important healing aspect of this powerful ritual.
The ceremony begins with us building the fire together, placing our ancestral stones in it and lighting it together. We cover the hut with materials and prepare ourselves for the topics and intentions with which we will enter the sweat lodge. We also decorate the altar with fotos and beloved objects to invite our ancestors and family members in.
